Reservation Policy

Reserving your seat(s) is a 3-step process:

  1. Click the “Book Now” button on for the tour of your choice. Our booking system will send us a notification that your request is pending.
  2. We will review your request to ensure that there are no scheduling conflicts, incorrect payment details, or other potential problems.
  3. We will either accept or decline your request. Reservations are not considered final until you have received confirmation from us that the request has been accepted.

In all cases, we will follow up with you via email when the request is accepted or declined.

Reservation Date Changes

All reservations are made for specific tour dates.

Once a reservation has been confirmed, tour dates cannot be changed, postponed, or transferred to an earlier or later date, including dates in a future season or year.

Any request to change a confirmed tour date will be treated as a cancellation and will be subject to our cancellation policy.

This policy applies to all day tours, brewery and wine tours, and 5-day vacation packages, regardless of how far in advance a date change is requested.

We strongly encourage guests to confirm their travel arrangements before booking.

Payment Policy

A 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure a reservation for all Vermontology Guided Tours.

Day Tours, Brewery Tours, and Wine Tours

The remaining balance is due 7 days before the scheduled tour date.

Guests will receive an email reminder with a payment link before the balance is due.

5-Day Tour Vacation Packages

The remaining balance is due 30 days before the scheduled departure date.

Guests will receive an email reminder with a payment link before the balance is due.

Reservations made within the applicable final payment period require full payment at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

Day Tours, Brewery Tours, and Wine Tours

  • Cancellations received at least 72 hours before the scheduled tour departure are eligible for an 80% refund of the total tour price. The 20% deposit is non-refundable.

  • Cancellations received less than 72 hours before departure are non-refundable. Vermontology Guided Tours retains 100% of the tour price.

5-Day Tour Vacation Packages

  • Cancellations received at least 30 days before the scheduled departure date are eligible for an 80% refund of the total package price. The 20% deposit is non-refundable.

  • Cancellations received less than 30 days before departure are non-refundable. Vermontology Guided Tours retains 100% of the package price.

Tour Cancellations by Vermontology Guided Tours

Vermontology Guided Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour if hazardous road conditions, including snow, ice, or other unsafe driving conditions, pose a safety risk.

If Vermontology Guided Tours cancels a tour due to hazardous road conditions, guests will receive a full refund, including their deposit.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip to Vermont, especially when booking our 5-Day Tour Vacation Package.

Travel insurance may provide protection against unexpected illness, travel disruptions, cancellations, or other unforeseen circumstances.
